Applications invited for PG courses in Art History, Conservation and Museology
The National Museum Institute of Art History, Conservation and Museology is a renowned university which operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture. Those with a flair for art and its history can apply for the various programs offered by the institute.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to pass a one-hour written test and an interview as well.

Separate applications should be sent for each course listed below:
MA History of Art: There are 25 places for this course. Applicants must have graduated with 50% marks and must have excellent academic background. A background in the social sciences, liberal arts, and fine arts is preferred.
MA Conservation: 15 places are available for this unique course. Minimum eligibility is 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Visual Arts, Architecture, Engineering and Technology as majors or degree in History, Geography, Anthropology and Archeology after passing Plus Two with at least 50% marks.
MA Museology: This course has 15 places up for grabs. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in the subjects of arts, sciences, social sciences and humanities. A PG degree in Art History/Museum Studies is also preferred.
It would be preferable if the candidates know a classical language or a foreign language in addition to their mother tongue.
Those with at least 5 years of work experience in government or the public sector can apply if they meet the above qualifications.
